Yellow Monkeyfower Seed
Erythranthe guttata (formerly known as Mimulus guttatus)
Native that grows throughout western Turtle Island and can be annual or perennial based on growing conditions. They thrive in moist locations, such as along streambanks or seeps (another name for them is seep monkeyflower) and would be lovely planted along a pond, rain garden or bioswale! Deer resistant.
Yellow monkey flower can be quite small, just a few inches high, or spread to form a clump several feet wide.
Sow seeds on the soil surface either indoors in late winter or direct sow in late fall to late winter. No stratification required but it does like light to germinate.
Seed is very tiny, handle with care.
Size: one seed packet
