Native annual. Also called Farewell to Spring, Godetia or Satin flower. Small annual native found from Washington through Northern California in open meadows and sunny slopes. Silky pink blooms appear in late spring and early summer and attract pollinators. They are a host plant for beautiful native moth species as well.
Excellent in meadow plantings for drifts of color.
Grows to 18-24” tall. Tends to reseed well.
Prefers full sun to light shade and thrives in a variety of moisture conditions including dry soil.
