Collomia grandiflora 

Annual native wildflower found from so-called British Columbia to southern California in open meadows and forest edges. Grows 2 ft high with light orange-white blossoms and blue pollen! Attracts bees. 

Thrives in partial shade and dry soils, but will tolerate full-sun. Grows readily from seed.
