Native. Also known as tall camas. Grows taller than Oregon’s common camas, and tolerates wetter conditions. Purple or white flowers that bloom from spring through July. Attracts hummingbirds, bees, butterflies and other pest-eating insects. A traditional food being tended in the Willamette Valley and throughout the West.
2-4’ tall. Prefers full sun to part shade, and thrives in wet winters and dry summer soils.
