An Italian heirloom ‘pomodoro d'inverno’ winter tomato from volcanic soils near Napoli, this is one of three storage tomatoes we’re growing. Prolific bright yellow fruits are oval with a pointed tip, with thick skin for long storage. Hang to store for several months to extend the fresh tomato season. Also excellent and versitile for pizza, sauces, canning and cooking. Flavor is sweet with a nice acidic note. Potato leaved plants.
