A mediterranean herb in the parsley family. Tall stalks grow 4-8 feet tall with light green umbel flowers on top. Plant in full sun to light shade. Regular summer water. Leafy parts can be used instead of celery in soups or bloody mary's but it has own pungent flavor.
Sow in late winter indoors or spring in situ.
Seeds sprout best in cool moist soil.
