Rumex sanguineus

Beautiful red veined foliage is wonderful in spring salads. Light sorrel/spinach flavor. Grows 24 inches tall, with brown seed heads in fall. Likes sun or partial shade.

Plant indoors 6 weeks before last frost date or direct sow in April.

watch out for slugs when plants are young.

Planting Depth: 1/8" deep

Days to Germination: 5 to 10 days

Days to Harvest: 40 to 55 days
