Also known as Silver wormwood. A silvery perennial in the aster family that forms colonies. Medicinal and magical. Use in bouquets, incense or smoke bundles and wreaths. High pollinator value and habitat for butterflies, moths and nesting bees.
Plant in full sun to very light shade in average to dry soil. Drought tolerant.
Grows 12-36 inches fall and forms wide patches.
Direct sowing benefits from a cold period, best to sow in winter or early spring. Seeds need light to germinate, sprinkle over soil and do not cover. Needs at least a 4-5 week stint of cold to sprout.
