Achillea millefolium

Native. White flowers in summer. Medicinal, use fresh or dried leaves for teas. A wonderful meadowscaping plant among bunch grasses and wildflowers, or just add to the edge of the veggie garden to provide habitat—great for attracting beneficial insects. Grows 12-24 inches tall.

Direct sow in late winter/early spring. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date.

For direct sowing soil temps should be in the mid 50-60's for germination. If started inside seedling can be put out when the soil is still cool. Transplants can be spaced 8-16" appart.

Planting Depth: surface

Days to Germination: 10 to 100 days
